Amid lull in Gaza violence, Palestinians protest, & Israel threatens invasion

The Israeli deputy defense minister, Matan Vilnai, told army radio that Israel would respond to escalation & "we will not shy away from any action" to halt the rocket fire on Israeli civilians.
